Founded in 2004 by Eric W. Maier, Ph.D., BCBA-D, the mission of CUSP is to help people meet their maximum potential by providing behavioral treatments to meet each person's needs. The organization offers highly individualized programs tailored to the specific strengths and weaknesses of each individual, with a focus on achieving independent functioning in the least restrictive environment. CUSP's treatment techniques are based on the principles of behavior analysis, and the Comprehensive Behavioral Architecture Curriculum includes a range of skills such as verbal behavior, listener behavior, adaptive living skills, and social skills. With locations in Torrance and Garden Grove, California, CUSP serves individuals with developmental challenges such as Autism, Aspergers, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Cerebral Palsy, Fragile-X Syndrome, Down Syndrome, and other related developmental disabilities.
