Founded in San Francisco, CA in 2005 by Melissa Willa and Colin Davitian, under the name Gateway Learning Group, Kyo was inspired to start its own company, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to children with autism and developmental disabilities. Their services are designed to be personalized to each child's strengths, goals, and what matters most to their family. They focus on progress families can feel and see, often achieving this in fewer therapy hours per week, so that the child can participate in other services and activities. Kyo's services are built around everyday life, learning happening in natural settings—at home, school, and in the community—so skills develop where the child lives and plays. They are in-network with major health plans and are expanding their list daily. Kyo is proud to offer ABA therapy services in various locations, including Garden Grove, CA, and surrounding areas.
