Compass Innovative Behavior Strategies

Through our creative approach, we provide multiple opportunities for learners to practice new skills in socially meaningful ways. We understand that learning should be applied to all aspects of the learner's life and advocate for a team-centered approach that involves collaboration between home, school, and community partners. Additionally, we believe that life skills should be taught early to foster independence and provide direct instruction that teaches real-life skills to promote generalization and maintenance. Our goal is to impact individuals in meaningful ways that promote safety, independence, and positive relationships, through intervention for challenging behaviors, toilet training, and teaching recreational or social skills.
