Christy Parrish Mixson, a CACREP-accredited Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate from Regent University, provides a therapeutic relationship that helps individuals live their life more fully. With a genuine flexibility to work with people from various religious and spiritual backgrounds, Christy's approach combines sound clinical practice and a creative spirit. She serves the generations of locals and transplants to the greater Bluffton area, in both Beaufort and Jasper Counties of South Carolina. Christy's expertise includes Anger Management, Marital and Premarital, and Relationship Issues, with a focus on evidenced-based or creative strategies to address individual challenges. She is trained to provide professional care for diagnosable symptoms and offers Trauma-informed care, certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and certification as a Certified Anger Management Specialist and Certified Complex Trauma Professional.
