The Center for People with Disabilities is a resource, advocacy, and support organization that promotes independent living and community integration for individuals with disabilities in the Boulder-Denver area. Founded in 1977, the Center has five core service areas that offer a comprehensive set of programs and services to meet the current needs of people with disabilities. Their mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently and to bring equality and integration to society. The Center offers various services, including advocacy, peer support, independent living skills training, transitions to community living, youth transition services, and information and referral. They also have locations in Boulder, Longmont, North Metro, and Broomfield, and provide services to individuals of all ages.
