The Center for Independence (CFI) is a non-profit, consumer-driven organization that works to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently in the Grand Junction community. They provide individualized services and system advocacy to persons with all types of disabilities, as well as services to those who have become newly disabled due to aging, accident or illness. CFI works with individuals to create a goal plan (independent living plan) that best fits their needs. They strive to provide accessible, inclusive, and equitable resources to promote community solutions and foster independent living.
