About
The clinic works with children, teenagers, young adults, adults, older adults, families, and couples for both short- and long-term durations. Services are provided by counselors-in-training from UVM's Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's program under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor. This collaboration was born in response to the persistent and growing need of mental health services in Chittenden County, and to reduce barriers between the Burlington community members and access points to care. Catamount Clinic interns and their supervisors each have individual interests, expertise, and scope of practice – including family therapy, individual counseling, and a wider range of ages and presenting concerns.
