Since 1996, Camp Dream has provided a traditional summer camp experience for children and young adults with moderate to severe physical and developmental disabilities. The practice believes that all children and young adults with disabilities, regardless of their financial situation, have a right to recreational and social experiences that enhance self-worth and value. Camp Dream offers recreational Summer Camp and Camp Out programs, providing a 1:1 camper to counselor ratio during its Summer Camp sessions. The practice strives to offer a barrier-free environment for its programs and never turns away a camper due to the severity of their disability or their financial capability. Camp Dream relies on the generosity of donors and sponsors to allow those campers who are unable to pay the ability to attend Camp Dream.
