FOCUS (Families of Children Under Stress, Inc.) is a nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, GA, that provides wraparound programs of support to families of children, teens, and young adults with medically fragile or developmental/physical disabilities. Their mission is to embrace and equip families to make everyday life better. FOCUS offers a range of programs, including hospital support, workshops, adapted day and overnight camps, adapted swim teams, parent share groups, family camps and activities, grants for critical medical equipment, and more. They serve children and families from birth through 29 years old, with a focus on those with rare genetic syndromes, cerebral palsy, autism, and Down syndrome. With over 40 years of experience, FOCUS has grown from a small living-room support group to an organization providing services for more than 5,000 Georgia families.
