Bruce Poulsen, PhD, PLLC

Bruce Poulsen PhD PLLC is a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults. I have served as Chief Psychologist at Primary Children’s Hospital where I directed the accredited psychology postdoctoral fellowship. I am also an adjunct professor in both the Psychiatry and Psychology Departments at the University of Utah. My doctoral degree is from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and I am a member of the American Psychological Association, International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, Utah Psychological Association, and the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration. My specialties include relational psychotherapy, brief psychodynamic therapy, psychoanalysis, family therapy, psychology training, and forensic psychology. I have done numerous research projects and publications, and I enjoy writing about psychology, art, and technology for Psychology Today.
