About
Heads Held High Counseling, a modern practice for modern needs, is led by Bre Bielecki, a queer, non-binary artist and therapist with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. They bring a unique approach to their work, combining creativity and connection to support self-expression and healing. Bre's practice focuses on supporting queer and trans youth and adults, neurodiverse populations, polyamorous relationships and individuals, and those experiencing grief and loss. They hold an existentialist perspective, believing that seeking meaning in a world with social systems that often deny our wholeness is an act of resistance. Bre's approach is non-pathologizing and deeply human, creating a space that's both grounding and expansive. They work to empower individuals, allowing for space to be messy, and trust that their inner world already holds wisdom. Whether you're looking to ground yourself through daily stressors or dive deep into the roots of what's coming up, Bre is here to collaborate with you in building a life worth living. No matter what you are facing, all parts of you are welcome. With offices in Brookline and Chicago, Heads Held High Counseling provides a safe and inclusive space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Bre's specialties include LGBTQIA+ therapy, neurodivergence, polyamory, and grief. They work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, providing a non-judgmental space for self-expression and healing.
