She collaborates with her clients to create a felt sense of safety in their lives, building trust and resilience to pursue their goals and respond to life's challenges effectively. Beth works with adults and adolescents on issues related to trauma, anxiety, chronic illness, parenting, and work stress. Her integrative approach draws from person-centered therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness techniques, and attachment theory. She is LGBTQIA+, Poly/ENM, Highly Sensitive Person, and neurodivergent affirming. Beth also uses somatic work, believing the body has a central role in healing. She uses body awareness to cope with emotions or pain. Beth has a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Miami University and a master's degree in clinical counseling from Alliant International University, with additional training in massage therapy. She has experience working with a wide variety of client ages and issues through her internship at Straight Talk Counseling.
