About
Ben Watson, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate, has extensive experience working with adults experiencing a wide array of topics, including sexual abuse, complicated grief, religious trauma, anxiety, family conflict, depression, loss, and identity exploration. His therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, emphasizing how past and present experiences shape patterns, internal narratives, and relational dynamics. Ben uses an integrated therapeutic approach, incorporating relational psychoanalysis, attachment theory, internal family systems, object relations, child development, and acceptance and commitment therapy. He is deeply committed to continual growth and is a member of the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study and Shelterwood Collective. Ben is under the supervision of Stuart Brewster, LMHC, and participates in a consultation group led by Olivia Bowker, LCSW. He offers sessions both in-person and virtually, four days a week, and is in-network with BlueCross and BlueShield, Premera, and LifeWise. Ben acknowledges the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People, past and present, and honors the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
