Becky Hecht utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach and incorporates games and art into her work with older children or teens. She is also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is a unique approach that utilizes the power of eye movements to replace negative images in the mind with positive images of the client's choosing. This can be used with post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, phobias, panic attacks, as well as other issues. Becky's background includes experience as a school counselor, where she provided solution-focused, brief therapy to children and teens. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (South Carolina) and has a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Becky is a registered Play Therapy (RPT) candidate and has also completed training in Systematic Training for Effective Parenting. She is passionate about supporting others through the challenges of life and is honored to be a partner in her clients' pursuit of growth and wholeness.
Insurance & payment
Wellspring Counseling is considered 'Out of Network' for insurance and does not work directly with any insurance companies. Payment is due at the time of your session, and they are eligible to receive HSA & FSA payments.
Sessions are $130 Per Session. Ask about sliding-scale fees if you're paying out of pocket.
