Area Residential Care is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1968 by a group of parents and other stakeholders with the mission of empowering people with intellectual disabilities to live their best life. We offer comprehensive community-based services to over 250 individuals each year in the Dubuque and Dyersville areas, including residential, vocational, and day support. Established more than 50 years ago, Area Residential Care is dedicated to helping people with intellectual disabilities access the services and support they need to live fulfilling lives.
