About
NEXT Counseling, led by Andrew Bradley, provides a balance of compassion and practical guidance for managing anger, anxiety/depression, trauma/PTSD, autism spectrum, and broken relationships using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other strategies. They serve individuals, couples, and families in Ames and beyond, offering individual counseling for adults and teens struggling with managing autism spectrum disorders, anger, anxiety/depression, PTSD, addiction, guilt, and shame. They also provide couples and family therapy for control issues, conflict resolution, recovery from betrayal and affairs, 'dead' marriages and relationships, communication, and parenting. With a safe and welcoming office location on the north side of Ames, NEXT Counseling prioritizes clients' safety during the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing plexiglass shields, a HEPA filter, social distancing, and hand sanitizer dispensers. Andrew Bradley, the therapist, has over a decade of experience, two Master's degrees, and an LMHC license, equipping him to treat a range of mental health issues and couple and family concerns. He is also a certified specialist in anger management, offering clients practical steps for real change and serving as a coach to help them put those steps into practice.
