Adanta Group

The Adanta Group is a contractor with the Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, providing health/substance use disorder services with state and federal funds. They serve the mental health, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disability needs of individuals within Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell, Taylor, and Wayne Counties. The agency has expanded to include services in Barren County. Adanta employs a team of over 250 staff, including prescribers and professionally licensed counselors, to serve approximately 5,000 active clients. Their goal is to provide compassionate care to anyone in mental health distress, including suicidal thoughts and substance use crisis. The Adanta Group is committed to conducting all activities in the best interest of the person served, families, and community, and upholding the rights of the person served to appropriate care, confidentiality, informed consent, self-determination, and access to records.
