With over 15 years of experience treating adolescents and adults, he offers individual and couple therapy in a safe, confidential, and enriching environment. His approach to psychotherapy is thoughtful, empathic, and compassionate, emphasizing listening closely and thoughtfully to each individual's unique experiences and challenges. Dr. Rodríguez has a general practice and helps people with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, loss and grief, serious mental illness, trauma, and struggles in school or work. His office is conveniently located at 818 NW 17th Ave., Suite 4 in Portland, OR. Dr. Rodríguez welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities, including those from the global majority, LGBTQ individuals of color, and first-generation college students of color. He is a faculty member and supervisor at the Oregon Psychoanalytic Center and has taught and presented at various institutions, including Lewis & Clark College and Notre Dame de Namur University. Dr. Rodríguez is also a published author and has edited an anthology titled Know That You Are Worthy: Experiences From First Generation College Graduates.
