Abilities First Home and Community Services (Community Habilitation, Respite, Family Support Services)

They aim to provide people with disabilities and their families with support to attain independence through exploration and experience. Abilities First offers a wide range of services, including home and community services, family support and advocacy, and clinical and behavioral services. Their services are designed to promote inclusion and acceptance of people with various kinds of developmental challenges. With a commitment to providing quality education and promoting self-determination, integration, and acceptance by others, Abilities First has been serving the community for over 60 years. They have a diverse team of staff members who work with over 1,500 people with various kinds of developmental needs. Abilities First is a non-profit organization that is licensed and accredited by various state agencies, including the New York State Education Department and the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
