Yvonne Copeland

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, and my background includes extensive field experience in medical social work, hospice, home health, family and children’s services and adoption. My practice focus for the past 15 years has primarily been supporting people who are dealing with grief and loss issues, helping to prevent caregiver burnout, educating people about depression and anxiety and the impact on their overall quality of life, as well as assisting with the adjustment to the changes brought about by chronic illness. My clinical approach will rely heavily on an initial assessment of the issues of concern and will help to structure a process which will involve your own goal setting. I strive to establish a comfortable, trusting environment in which we can engage in an exchange that will produce the positive outcome that you seek. I believe in personalization of care by using individualized approaches to counseling. You will help me to structure the plan that will meet your needs. My goal for each of you is empowerment by providing life skills that will support your goals and improve your quality of life and well-being as you travel your life’s journey.
