I am a licensed psychologist in New York with over 20 years of professional work experience in the field of school psychology and education. I have experience in helping clients with behavior issues, parenting issues, relationship issues, anxiety and depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My therapy style is warm and patient. I believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity. My therapeutic approach is primarily cognitive behavioral and client centered. Together, we will develop goals and a plan that meets your individual needs. I am a bilingual Latina. I speak English and Spanish. I understand that individuals function within a greater environment where cultural and linguistic backgrounds play a role. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
