Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and have worked for over 8 years with people who suffer from diverse, life-challenging mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, anger management, low self-esteem, suicidal ideation, sexual or physical abuse, social phobia, drug/alcohol abuse, parenting, relationship issues, etc. I am a first-generation immigrant from South Korea and have worked with the Hispanic population for several years, enhancing my cultural awareness. I can also approach various family dynamics and conflicts with psychologically knowledgeable perspectives based on my two master degrees and clinical experiences. My major counseling method is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy including Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, however, I occasionally utilize other effective counseling methods for my clients’ benefits. I take each client’s situation seriously and do my best to make productive and positive progress with my clients in order to reach our counseling goals. I believe that each one of us is not only the most important existence in this world, but also is the world itself. We will work together as a team and we can make our world better together.
