Hi. I have quite an extensive work history in the social service field all leading to my present and most rewarding position as an Independent Clinical Social Worker/Therapist. All my years of being in this field has given me the opportunity to work with a very diverse population, including the LGBTQIA community. I particularly enjoy working with people who struggle with interpersonal conflict whether it is with self, a friend, spouse/partner, professionals, parents, children, teachers/professor’s, etc., which all can be very difficult to maneuver through at times. These conflicts can cause immense anxiety, depression, confusion, sometimes leading to substance use and other issues/behaviors that you may want to address. My treatment approach is varied and includes a humanistic one of acceptance allowing for a building of trust and collaboration between us as well as evidence based practices of cognitive behavioral techniques, psycho-dynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing. “While there’s life, there’s hope” I look forward to hearing from you!
