Troy J Miles

Hello, my name is Troy J. Miles, MA, LPC, ADC-IP, EMDR. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina with over sixteen years of professional experience in this field. I currently hold a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology. I have been heavily involved in community outreach including co-founding an Addiction Recovery Program. My therapeutic orientations are primarily cognitive behavior therapy, client-centered therapy, and family systems. In addition, I am a trained EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapist. I have experience helping clients experiencing depression, anxiety, anger problems, difficulties adjusting to a life crisis, obsessive-compulsive disorder, family discord, and childhood disruptions. I have focused on personality, developmental, and cognitive assessments in my psychological training and practice as a professional counselor. I have a direct, yet empathic approach where I focus on being non-judgmental and acceptance for all as a priority. We all deserve to have the ability to be authentic and genuine.
