I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years experience with a wide range in many areas including substance abuse, mental health, grief counseling and extensive work within the LGBTQ+ community. My therapy style is very interactive, compassionate and warm. My therapeutic modalities varies upon the client, no one person is the same. Some of the modalities used are Client Centered, Motivational Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, CBT , Solution Focused Therapy and Psychotherapy. I believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect and will meet you where you are at. I am a extremely good listener and also find it important for you to have feedback and be able to communicate openly with me. Finding the right therapist is not always easy and for some can be discouraging, I commend you for reaching out and truly hope I can be part of your journey.
