I am a licensed independent social worker with eleven years of diverse experience in hospital-based and crisis work. I have worked with clients experiencing suicidal crises, depression, anxiety, anger issues, substance abuse, and with diagnoses of Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, OCD, Schizophrenia, and eating disorders. I also have formal crisis training and nine years of experience working on a suicide crisis hotline for individuals experiencing acute suicidal crisis. I blend cognitive-behavioral and crisis-based approaches to my work. I believe in the benefit and efficacy of therapy for all individuals looking to process through past experiences, current struggles, or trying to implement change for the future. I practice with an empathetic, accepting, and sensitive approach. I treat each interaction as unique, and delve into each client’s experience to tailor the approach.
