Syeda Maharaj

Aloha! My name is Syeda Rabia Maharaj, but please do call me Rabia. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the beautiful state of Hawaii with 4 years of professional work experience. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Social Work from Adelphi University in Long Island, NY in 2016 and Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in Gerontology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, HI in 2020. I lived in Hawaii for 6 years and recently made the move to Southern California. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, motivation, fitness, nutrition, healthy lifestyle changes, life transitions, and navigating the elderly care system. I like to be personable and relatable in my therapeutic approach while also challenging you to think outside the box. I will assist you in prioritizing your physical and mental health to live a healthier and happier quality of life! I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
