I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and parenting problems . I am also trained to work with people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My therapy style is consent based and tailored to your particular needs. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and somatic therapy. Your symptoms of anxiety, depression, and anger are your body’s way of telling you something’s not right! As a child, you may have experienced some sort of failure in your relationships or environment. These failures may have caused you to compensate by creating strategies to survive.
