Stacie Dziuk

Hello and welcome! My name is Stacie and I am a licensed professional counselor in Texas. Over the past 7 years I have worked extensively in various mental health settings all the way from outpatient clinics to partial hospitalization programs to inpatient psychiatric hospitals. My expertise include working with individuals who have depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, LGBT issues, family conflict, and issues related to self esteem/self worth. Prior to working in mental health I was a school teacher. My time as a teacher made a huge impact on my life and taught me some valuable lessons. Given my experience as a teacher, I enjoy when the opportunity presents itself in counseling to do just that, teach. I don’t believe counseling should be some mysterious experience so I want you to understand what we are doing and why we are doing it. Ultimately having that understanding will allow you to apply that knowledge to everyday life and use long after counseling is over. Every individual is different with their own experiences and as your counselor I would work with you to tailor our time together to fit your needs and goals because at the end of the day this is about you and your happiness right?
