Welcome to BetterHelp! My name is Stacie Billingsley, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Illinois. I earned my Master of Arts degree in Human Development Counseling from Bradley University in 2007 and have been practicing in the field for over 16 years. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of settings with individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of personal challenges—including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma and abuse, relationship and parenting concerns, addictions, family conflict, self-esteem, grief, and more. I understand how overwhelming life’s stressors can feel, and I believe that having a supportive and nonjudgmental space to process these emotions can make a meaningful difference. I typically check messages twice a day, Monday through Friday. I offer messaging, live chat, phone, and video sessions with availability on Mondays through Thursdays—including morning, afternoon, and evening time slots. Please note that what’s shown on my calendar may not reflect all of my availability, so feel free to message me if you’re looking for a time that’s not listed. Many clients find that one 30–45-minute live session per week (via phone, video, or live chat) combined with ongoing messaging works well, though we can adjust this based on your needs and preferences.
