As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Trauma Professional, I can be of assistance in developing a better understanding of symptoms while providing guidance to assist in decreasing the negative impact these symptoms may be having on daily life and relationships. Basically, you will learn strategies to address and diminish ongoing difficulties and barriers to becoming the best version of yourself. I received my Masters degree from Liberty University and I am a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals. My approach is collaborative with the individual or family, providing therapeutic pathways and education to promote existing strengths and abilities to sustain achieved outcomes long after counseling is completed. Because of my experience as an Adoption Worker and an adoptive parent, I offer specific supports in the area of adoption and complex childhood trauma. It s important that the individual and family receiving services know that I believe that they can overcome the challenges that bring them to counseling.
