I am a Cognitive-Behavioral counselor who specializes in working with performing and non-performing creative artists, athletes and ministers. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Child Development and Family and Consumer Sciences from Baylor University in 1998. I completed a Master of Arts in Counseling from Amberton University in 2002. I was licensed in 2006 and became an LPC supervisor in 2008. I opened my private practice, At the Table Counseling, in 2009 and have been devoted to my clients full time since 2011. My counseling clients are typically those with concerns of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and work or home-related stressors. I also operate as a mental strength strategist who coaches creatives, athletes, and ministers in building and maintaining the mental capacity to handle their platforms with excellence and to operate in their gifts for Christ. This is a specialized coaching program that is outside of my practice, but it is offered to anyone who is interested. I strongly believe in teaching my clients so, I have also written 5 books to help with several different issues. The main focus with most of my clients is the transition from their jobs to their dreams. Having made this transition myself, I understand the struggle this desire brings with it. Being unhappy in your life is not something you simply have to put up with. I want all of my clients to understand that we can work together to figure out where you want to go and map out how to get there.
