I am Shelley Schneider, a Florida licensed social worker with 35 years of clinical experience. First I want to acknowledge it takes courage and strength to seek professional help. Therefore, I strive to create a safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without judgement and a trusting relationship can be established. So I bring that attitude and approach to my work with you while being sensitive and thoughtful about your individual needs. I have experience in helping people with a multitude of problems such as anxiety, stress, depression, coping, self esteem and confidence. Some of my areas of expertise are coping with loss and change, stress anxiety, depression, grief, aging, end of life issues, death and dying and hospice care. Among some of my professional activities I have investigated Child Abuse, supervised Adult Protective Services and served as a Vice President of Counseling Services in a large hospice.
