I am a Licensed Social Worker that has been in practice for 20+ yrs. My practice over the yrs has included working with teens, adults, and families facing multiple life stressors including past and present trauma and abuse. I have found that most clients are incredibly resilient, and find great pleasure in working with them to help them gain the strengths that they already have to navigate daily stressors. While I use multiple therapy modalities, I consider my base to be Evidence Base Practices, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and or Strength Perspective practices. Additionally, I am trained in Prolonged Exposure as it relates to addressing past trauma . I see my therapy style as “down to earth, patient and kind.” I am here for you, and you get to feel empowered to lead your own therapy. I would love to work with you!
