Shellee Sepko

I am a licensed psychotherapist in California with 27 years of experience. I have helped clients with a wide variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma and have a special focus in helping those in grief. I am also currently the Executive Director of a community mental health program supporting young people in schools. Often we are being called to growth through our challenges. Our symptoms, relationship conflicts, painful longings and illness can actually lead us into new, more meaningful ways of being in life. I can assist you in developing more compassion and deepening your attention to what is being asked of you in these difficult moments. I can also help you to cultivate new awareness and behaviors that can bring you into greater intimacy with yourself, your community, the natural world and the sacred. In addition to talking, I use dreams, body awareness, writing and art as doorways to healing. I will work closely with you to create a plan of care that meets your unique needs and strengths. It takes a lot of courage to step forth on the healing path and ask for help. However as one of my mentors says, this is a solo journey that we cannot do alone.
