Hello, congratulations on your self awareness and taking the first step to seek counseling. Counseling is a means to improve yourself and become your best self. It does require effort and action and you are ready for the journey. My name is Shelby Wright, I am an LPC in the state of Texas. I understand the anxiety, pressure and information overload placed on individuals today at work, home, and society. I am here to listen and not judge and help you explore and get in touch with your emotions and cognitive ability. You are in the prime of your life, you have more cognitive skills than your realize or are given credit for. You are in the best years of your brain development and are developing your talents to find your passions and be your best self that includes permission to feel all emotions. I have experience in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, family and peer conflict, LBGTQ+, and gender issues. I strive to create a diverse, inclusive, accepting, and welcoming space for all.
