Sehnaz Zor

Hi, my name is Sehnaz Zor, LPC and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey. I have been a clinician for 17 years, and fully licensed for 15. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (1994), a Master of Arts degree in Psychological Counseling (2001) and I have also completed the Post-Master’s Certificate program in Professional Counseling (2003). I have worked both in Partial Hospital and Outpatient settings since 2003. I have extensive experience working in individual and group settings and I have also been providing couples, marriage and family therapy for many years on a regular basis. Some of the clinical issues I have the most experience working with are depression, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, anxiety/stress, anger, adjustment to life changes, and finding meaning and purpose in life. My counseling style combines person-centered, humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, reality therapy and solution focused therapy. I offer a culturally sensitive approach, recognizing and appreciating each person’s difference and unique set of qualities. Respect, professionalism, empathy and compassion towards each and every client I have served have always been the building blocks of my professional experience.
