Dr. Sandra Webster-Brown

Thank you for taking the time to explore mental health as a means to improve your quality of life. I am aware that seeking counseling is a major sacrifice, yet it changes the trajectory of your life. My name is Dr. Sandra Webster-Brown. I identify as an African American female, she, her, hers. I am a licensed professional counselor in both the state of Texas and Colorado. A few of the populations I have worked with but not limited to practice include: Addictions, relationship issues, LGBTQIA, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I received a PhD from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX. My clinical training has been in trauma related issues with children, adolescents and adults. The approach I use to counseling is empathetic and interactive. I believe each client is expert in their situation. As counselor, my role is to guide you to a lifestyle that embodies a sense of stability, peace, and feeling of progression. Together we work toward managing and removing the barriers that prevent reaching life’s meaning and purposeful goals. I will frequently inquire from you an evaluation, if my approach feels comfortable for you since counseling is a place to stimulate empowerment and growth. Because counseling is a safe environment to communicate what’s on your mind in a non-judgmental environment, I want to make sure you have the space to explore the deep recesses of your heart, at your pace, in your time.
