Welcome all- My name is Sandra Musielewicz, LCSW. I’m a Board Certified, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with 8+ years of clinical social work practice specializing in behavioral / mental health interventions & psychotherapy (talk therapy) via face to face and online platforms. The theoretical frameworks that guide my practice include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Narrative & Stomatic Therapies and Trans/Theoretical & Psychodynamic theory. I have experience working with a diverse clientele: individuals & couples, young to older adults, LGBTQIA+ community members, neurotypical & neurodivergent folks with an emphasis on ADHD, ADD. I help clients manage his/her/their depressive symptoms/ MDD, anxiety/ GAD/SAD, improve anger management coping, identity work, individuals with Bipolar I & II, BPD diagnoses & symptoms, value exploration, forgiveness work, build internal fortitude, emotional regulation, mindfulness & communication skills, compassion & self-care. It is a life-long goal to empower people who struggled with mental health symptoms, who have little or no access to behavioral health care, have faced bulling, stigma and/or shame for seeking professional mental health care. My approach is to help clients identify personal strengths, talents & abilities- then utilize theses attributes to formulate a custom tailored treatment plan with realistic goals designed to overcome current barriers and problems. I offer you a safe space to organize thoughts, brainstorm, seek root causes, challenge negative thinking, change your perspective and encourage emotional exploration.
