Hello and Welcome. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina; and have over 15 years of experience in the mental health and academic (higher education) setting. My primary experience within these settings includes academic, personal, and career counseling. I am also equipped to address issues centered around depression, stress and anxiety, self-esteem and body image, parenting problem, relationship issues, etc. My counseling style is warm, genuine, and interactive. I strive to develop a trusting relationship with each client; and work to maintain an environment consisting of unconditional positive regard and empathy. Together, we will explore how certain thoughts and beliefs can produce negative or painful feeling and maladaptive behaviors. Then process and guide individuals through the exploration of solutions already present within their lives in order to address solve current challenges. I believe in treating people with dignity, respects, and compassion; while utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities that focus on the client and their needs. Treating the whole individual is my main focus and will work with the client to ensure that you reach your full potential.
