Sallie Trecek

Hello and welcome! My name is Sallie Trecek and I congratulate you for reaching out! My hope is to help you turn whatever barriers are in your path right now into building blocks. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma for over 20 years. I also have been a teacher and a school counselor in public schools. My background is varied which leads me to better understand my clients no matter their age or ethnic backgrounds. I have gained knowledge and experience in helping families overcome parenting hurtles and helping individuals get through challenging times in order to find and clarify their lives’ paths. I have worked with people at all stages of their lives whether it be with their anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties or just “what do I want to do when I grow up”? We all have choices, whether as an individual or a group, yet sometimes feel like we’re “stuck” and see no clear path or options. As your therapist, I am a sounding board to help you sort out the issues then find and clarify your options. I will walk beside you in this journey and help you through whatever challenges you are facing. I listen carefully to your concerns and help you explore ways to improve your life by creating what you want instead of what you have. I have a very eclectic approach to therapy and use a variety of techniques helping you on this journey. The most important one to me is showing you unconditional positive regard. It is my greatest hope that while working together you will be able to achieve a level of personal growth that you need to lead a happy and healthy life.
