Hi, I’m Ryan Urzen, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida with years of experience helping adults navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and major life transitions. I also have a deep passion for helping people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their direction rediscover meaning and confidence in their lives. I earned my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, where I served as Vice President of the Counseling Student Organization. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University, where I completed a clinical internship in brain and spinal cord trauma at the John Heinz Rehabilitation Hospital. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and solution-focused. I incorporate techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and strengths-based strategies to help clients challenge unhelpful thoughts, build healthier coping skills, and feel more in control of their emotional well-being. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow at your own pace. Whether you’re looking to manage stress, heal from past pain, or find clarity during a difficult time, I’m here to help guide and support you. It’s an honor to walk alongside my clients as they work toward greater peace, purpose, and fulfillment.
