Rodney Carson

Hi, my name is Rodney W. Carson and I am a Licence Clinical Social Worker. I have work in the field of counseling and social work for the past 25 years. I am very passionate about helping individuals for I received help when I was struggling in life with drug addiction. I have been in recovery and working a recovery program for the past 25 years. For the last decade, I have worked as a Drug and Alcohol and Mental Health Outpatient Therapist for a local community counseling agency. I am co-inventor of a therapeutic medication game/program that has been utilized at different outpatient facilities, hospitals, nursing schools, and prisons throughout the United States and Canada. I enjoy motivating individuals to help themselves in times when they may be at their lowest point in life. It has been very rewarding to see a person get better and their life improve from the help I offer through counseling. At my place of worship, I am on the path to becoming an ordained deacon and have been teaching the adult Sunday School class for the past nine years. One of my favorite scriptures in the bible which helps motivate me is, Philippians: 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me”. I am excited to have this opportunity to be of help to you.
