For more than two decades, I’ve sat beside individuals, couples, and families as they rebuilt trust, quieted anxious thoughts, and rediscovered their sense of purpose. Before opening Lugo Counseling, I spent years as an elementary and middle-school principal. That experience sharpened my understanding of family systems and the day-to-day pressures families, couples and adolescents face—perspectives I draw on every time I meet with parents, teens, or couples.
