I have been practicing since 1999. I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist in California I have masters in counseling psychology and a doctorate in Marriage and Family therapy I believe childhood experience informs individuals on how to think and behave in adulthood. Gaining insight of how those experiences affected an individual, permits an individual to make changes in their belief system about self and others that is no longer adaptive. Once issues have been identified it’s important to process through past experiences. I use EMDR, letter writing, psychodynamic intervention to name a few to help my clients resolve past traumatic experiences. I have a relatable approach to therapy in that I don’t see therapy as a clinical interaction I see it more as a relational interaction.
