I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York and am experienced in working with varied populations including teens, college students, working adults, and retirees. I graduated from Long Island University with a Masters Degree in Education: Mental Health. I specialize in anxiety, self-esteem, and stress management, but I am also trained to deal with a wide range of mental health issues. I use an eclectic array of evidence-based treatment methods, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), and motivational interviewing. I believe in a person-centered approach to mental health and wellness and enjoy working with individuals who are actively looking to make positive changes in their lives. I offer a safe and supportive environment for exploring personal issues and helping clients meet their individual goals.
