Patricia Leigh

I am a licensed professional counselor as well as a board approved supervisor and registered play therapist. I have 9 years experience as a Mental Heath Clinician as well as 13 years as a preschool teacher and 20+ years as a CNA in geriatric environment . I am highly trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the approach appeals to me as it is direct and empirically supported. My experience and education involving child development allows me to see young people as unique and individual rather than “cookie cut” small adults and children’s zest for life and limitless imagination fascinates me. I am compassionate and caring with endless patience and feel my career is a calling and not just a job or career. I embrace and support your decision to pursue therapy.
