About NaTanya Smith

Hello and welcome! First, I want to commend you for your willingness to grow and change by seeking out therapy. Next, I would like to introduce myself. My name is NaTanya Smith. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. Together, with my 5 years experience as a counselling intern and another 5 years as a fully licensed counselor/therapist, I have a total of 10 years in the mental health arena. I’ve worked with clients dealing with grief and loss, substance abuse, self-esteem issues, communication, depression, and anger management. I’ve counseled in group settings as well as individual settings. My approach to counseling is that of a guide and partner in the client’s best self and positive well being. I use client centered therapy combined with solution focused and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). Above all, my goals in counseling are to provide what is best for you the client. I hope you are ready for the journey to becoming the best version of yourself!
