Self-discovery is an all encompassing journey of getting to know yourself better. Learning what makes you tick, what makes you happy, and your communication style empowers true authenticity through self-awareness. My name is Narissa Huntley and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Counselor in North Carolina. My experience comes from providing direct mental health counseling to kids, teens and adults with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship and family issues, trauma, and life transitions. My experience is varied across settings as I have provided individual and family therapy in private practice, home-based, school settings, homeless shelters and community mental health agencies. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and solution-focused techniques. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!
