About Miriam Maslanik

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. Becoming a therapist is my encore career, after many years in technology and administration at a large university. Helping women find solutions to their eating and body image issues has been my passion since 2011 (with some time off during COVID). For those of you with eating issues (or if you know someone who has them): Do you find yourself constantly dieting or restricting what you eat, weight-cycling or even binge-eating? Do you lose weight only to gain it back and then some? I have years of experience treating women with recent and life-long eating issues, especially disordered eating and binge eating disorder. We have food and body issues for a variety of reasons. I can help you identify the source(s) of your struggles, and we can work together to try to resolve these issues. I’ll be honest, this can be difficult. I can help you restore a healthy relationship with food and feel better about your body. Taking the first step takes courage. You’ll be glad you did. I am here to support you.
